Our Story
Footbeats was founded as a children's footwear specialty store in November of 1984 in Holyoke, MA where our first store was located.
During the first 10 years, we operated as Kiddie Kobbler, but changed our name to Footbeats to appeal to older children. We expanded with a new store each year for the first 6 years, adding locations in Western MA and CT. In September 2012, we expanded to the Albany, NY area with our newest locations.
We added women's and men's comfort and wide footwear to our Enfield, CT location in the late 1990s. When we opened in Canton, CT, we began as a full service store with a full assortment for the entire family.

Our mission is to provide customers with both the best children's shoes and the best customer service. Our knowledgeable fit specialists provide the expertise to achieve our mission.

Serving a second generation of customers is very satisfying as a retailer, and our proudest accomplishment. Footbeats fits feet first; then we sell shoes that fit properly. Different styles of shoes vary as to what shape feet they are best for, which is why we emphasize fit and comfort as well as the best style choices for your fashion needs.
